Kaushik is a versatile singer and dynamic multi-instrumentalist, celebrated for his musical mastery across genres and languages.
As a disciple of Grammy Award winner Dr. Prakash Sontakke, Pandit Anal Chatterjee (Shrutinandan), and Folk Legend Suvendu Maity, he has mastered over 25 instruments and performs & composes in 10 Indian languages. Kaushik’s musical journey musical journey is steeped in rich tradition, diverse influences and significant achievements, including being the youngest state-level guitar champion and the youngest district champion in Lap Steel Guitar awarded by the Government of West Bengal.
His unique abilities have earned him recognition across India, including over 800+ successful performances, playback singing and music composing for Bengali, Kannada and Malayalam projects. He has also composed attractive corporate theme music and brand jingles.
Kaushik’s landmark feat as the only Bengali singer to launch his solo Bengali music album in Bangalore, had garnered significant attention from South Indian media fraternity. His contributions to music have been acknowledged with prestigious titles like “Sangeet Bibhakar” and “Sangeet Ratna”.
Kaushik has successfully introduced Bengali music to broader audiences of different culture and language, continuing to impress with his versatility and dedication to preserving and evolving India’s musical heritage.
